Check Your Numbers

Taxes may not be due until April 17 this year, but just in case you’re getting a jump start on yours, we wanted to share tips that could help you receive your refund faster when you choose to have it direct deposited!

When you fill out your tax forms, it’s important to make sure you’ve got the correct information – any mistakes might mean a delay in receiving your funds, as the IRS will have to issue a check instead. Follow these steps before you submit your tax forms, and save yourself a headache!

  • Determine which Xceed account you’d like to have your deposit sent to (checking or savings), and indicate the account type on your tax form
  • Use the account number listed on your most recent statement and Xceed’s routing number—322275490—to ensure your funds are routed correctly
  • Don’t assume last year’s info is still correct…if you’ve made any changes to your primary accounts, or who’s listed on those accounts, the account info might have changed

If you have any questions about your account numbers or where they’re located on your statement, just give us a call at 800.XFCU.222 (800.932.8222) or visit your local Financial Center.

P.S. These tips actually hold true for all of your automatic transactions (think: bill pays and account transfers), so now’s a great time to double check all of your accounts.
