Host a Potluck

It’s great to spend time with friends and loved ones, but those restaurant bills can really add up. The next time you want to have a get-together, try hosting a potluck at your home or a local park (if the weather is good).

Ask everyone to bring a few servings of their favorite dish. This way, everyone gets to show off their culinary skills and enjoy a home cooked meal, all while skipping that pricey entrée.

You can mix things up by suggesting a theme, or setting a dollar limit on what you can spend on ingredients. See how creative you can get, and have a blast sharing your cooking stories while you eat!
