Share the Road
Public transportation and ride-sharing are more popular than ever – and with good reason! You can save time, money, and the hassle of sitting in traffic, and get to where you need to go without breaking the bank.
If you’re already a public transportation pro, you can look into ride-sharing services to help you get around faster, and to places public transportation doesn’t go. If you own a car, skipping the drive every once in a while will help you save on gas and maintenance costs.
Even if your commute to work requires that you drive yourself daily, there are still plenty of times it makes sense to skip the car. For instance, many sports arenas and concert venues offer a free or low-cost “park and ride” service. By using this instead of driving yourself, you’ll skip the headache of driving to the venue, finding (and paying for) parking, and the lines to get out of the lot after the event!
